The Wyvern Division was formed in 1964 and was one of the first divisions to be set up.  Its aim is to serve all sea anglers within its area.

At our AGM in November, Harry Bottomley was re-elected as President as too was Alex Parker who again stays as the Chairman.  Kevin Tapper was elected as Vice Chairman and he also took over the role of NFSA standing committee delegate.

All member clubs are fully represented whatever size of membership they have, with equal voting rights at all meetings.  Any items that are beyond our power will be brought to the attention of the National Standing Committee of the NFSA.  Normally, practical advice is available from within the Division.

The Divisions National Standing Delegates are Kevin Tapper and the reserve is Paul Lawson.

The Festival Committee meet as and when needed and these competitions are always well attended by all the local clubs and anglers.  The three open events are :- Open Junior Competition, Open shore festival and the two day small boat competition at Salcombe.

In early January each year the Division holds a very good presentation night, normally at Exeter.  All the years fish of the month awards are made along with the many other awards that are up for grabs through the year.  A free buffet normally ends the evening.

Anyone looking to join us or help at our events, then please contact any committee member for more details.

at our presentation night each year we have a range of cups / awards to give out for fish such as :- Bass, Bream, Conger and best Lady.  Would your club like to sponsor other awards by giving a cup / shield for a certain fish ? please contact M Spiller if you would like to help.

If you have any information that would be good for this web site please pass them on again to m spiller
